hi

Packaged Whole Foods You Find at Costco

My short list of packaged foods that meet the criteria of whole foods!

As you very well know, (if you’ve been following me for any length of time) I’m a big advocate of eating whole foods, as close to their natural state as possible, locally grown and organic; not only because it’s benefiting you, but also the farmers you’re buying from, as well as the environment. You hear me often saying, “you’re voting with your dollars.” You can twit the following:

“You either pay more on food now, or later on medical bills, either way you’ll have to pay!”

In today’s blog post however, I’m not taking you to the farmer’s market for some fresh locally grown foods, NO  I will “walk you” through Costco store and show you what packaged foods you can buy there that are meeting the criteria of whole foods and  it’s pretty much the only way we can get them. Think olive oil, salt, spices, etc.

So, below you’ll find a resource guide with foods I personally buy at Costco and I think you should too (if you have a Costco in your neck of the woods). It’s definitely worth having a membership with them. I will continue to update this list so please come back to this blog periodically if you wish to know what’s new and good at Costco.

Note: I’m not an affiliate, I don’t get paid by Costco to write this, I just happen to shop there. I think it is good, hence I’m sharing “the love” with you. And now the list.

Other things I buy at Costco include white vinegar and backing soda. I use those extensively for cleaning. And occasionally organic greens (if I don’t make it to the farmer’s market).
