A meal in under 4 minutes and for approximately $6.
Last night I went live on my biz Facebook page and prepared my dinner “on camera”. A whole foods meal in under 4 minutes and 6 dollars….
You know why? Not because I think I have a reality cooking show or I intend to have one. Nope.
It was because I hear so often, from my clients, my friends and the women I happen to talk about food randomly.
“I don’t know what to eat”.
“I don’t know how to cook”
“It takes too much time”.
“It’s too expensive”.
So yesterday, I put the timer on, I put together a meal in under 4 minutes and I recorded it. Proof is in the pudding, right? Watch the video below and see. It’s possible.
What you need to have in order to do it, is the right foods in the house. Which means you need to:
- plan a day for shopping,
- bring home enough food to have for the week.
You’ll see I’m using sauerkraut and sprouts, which of course I also make them myself. That’s optional. You can always buy these at the local health store. The cost of your meal may go up slightly when you do that, but that will save you some time.
After I ate, I actually logged all the ingredients that went on this meal, so you can see the macronutrient ratios as well. It took me longer to log than to make the meal:)
That’s it, it can be that simple. Did you like today’s vlog? Share with your friends.
